NS1E - Network Configuration
Students use a combination of computer simulations and networking hardware
to explore the concepts and practical applications of computer networks.
Typical exploratory topic areas include: Sharing network resources, server
protection, and networks and remote access.
NS2E - Network Administration
This module provides students with direct experience in the administration
of computer networks. Typical exploratory topic areas include: Network
operating systems, performance monitoring, and backing up data.
NS3E - Working with the Internet
Students look at how the Internet works and how to use it effectively.
Typical exploratory topic areas include: Introduction to the Internet,
HTTP and URL, and browser and email security.
NS4E - Electronic Communications
This practical activities-based module provides students with an in-depth
insight into electronic communications. Typical exploratory topic areas
include: Penetration properties of microwaves, messages across a microwave
link, and the electromagnetic spectrum.
