IGPRO Directions (Q1 2008-2009)

To get grades into the First Nine Weeks Spreadsheet:

1.                  For EACH class, you will choose the drop down that currently says “1st Nine Weeks Spreadsheet (Weighted Type) and

2.                  change it to “First Nine Weeks [End Term 10/24/2008]

3.                  Right Click the “1st 9 Week grade” column and choose Replace task

4.                  The correct Class should be listed in the drop down list at the top

5.                  Choose “1st Nine Weeks Spreadsheet (Numeric Weighted Type)” at the top of the spreadsheet list

6.                  Click next

7.                  Choose “1st Nine Weeks Spreadsheet spreadsheet grade”

8.                  click next

9.                  choose RAW score (should already be selected)

10.             Click Next

11.              Select the Hot Link Grades checkbox so that any updates in the actual “1st Nine Weeks Spreadsheet (Weighted type)” will automatically show here also.

12.              Click OK

13.            Add your comments in Comment column(s)--Note—you can right click on the cell (the space) for each student to bring up a list of comment choices.

14.              Repeat all steps for each class—save often!

DON’T FORGET to EXPORT as given below…..

*********Additional instructions for Nine weeks only classes (Exploratory/Academic Assistance, etc. ONLY)

  1. go to “Fourth Nine Weeks [End Term 6/5/2008]” in spreadsheet drop down list
  2. Right click the Fnl Grd Grade column and choose replace task
  3. choose the current nine weeks [ex: 1st Nine Weeks Spreadsheet (Numeric Weighted Type)]
  4. click next
  5. Choose the TOP item in the list (ex: 1st Nine Weeks Spreadsheet Spreadsheet grade)—this is the average of that nine weeks
  6. click next
  7. leave as “Raw Score”
  8. click next
  9. check the box that says Hot Link Grades
  10. click OK
  11. Do this for ALL nine week only classes (Q1, Q2, etc.)

    AFTER ALL of the above steps are complete for each class-----

 

2008-2009 Export Instructions

 

Home

1.      From the File Menu, choose Export from Gradebook. 

2.      Select the appropriate reporting period (example below is First Nine Weeks) for these grades by clicking in the adjacent box. 

 

3.      Choose Next.

 

 

 

 

 

4.      If there is data missing the following screen will appear.  You can choose to continue the export or to return and fix the problem.

 

5.      Choose Next.

 

6.      The following message box appears. 

 

7.      Click on Export to continue. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

You may see an error message like the one below.  If so just click No.

 

 

Followed by the message:

 

You have completed the export process for this grading period!
